Every one matters
A person, a meal, a conversation.
Every one matters
At Making Heaven Crowded, every number represents a person made in the image of God. Every meal represents an opportunity to serve. Every conversation represents an opportunity to proclaim the Gospel.
Those three lines close the ministry’s one page overview, and they are how the team thinks about its work in Tampa and Gainesville.
A person made in the image of God
In less than one year the team has reached more than 100 individuals in Tampa, Florida. Since October 2025 it has also handed out more than 2,800 meals and more than 3,000 bottles of water on the street.
We keep the figures because they are honest, and we keep reminding ourselves what they are: people. See the full list on our impact numbers.
An opportunity to serve
Food is how many conversations on the street begin. A meal is a practical way to serve someone first. The team prepares and hands out meals as part of homeless outreach in Tampa and in Gainesville.
You can help with donated items, water bottles or a gift on the give page.
An opportunity to proclaim the Gospel
Behind every meal is a chance to talk. We believe every person deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion and love, so the conversation starts with listening. The team shares the Gospel of Jesus Christ with those who are open to it.
